About Jeremy
Jeremy S. Jones is an author, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Cultivate Life, a ministry born from a desire to help people rediscover the simplicity, freedom, and intimacy of walking with God.
Raised in the church, Jeremy knew the language of Christianity from an early age. He served, participated, and did many of the things he believed a life of faith was supposed to look like. But beneath it all remained a hunger for something deeper—a relationship with God that was genuine, personal, and transformative rather than defined by religious performance or inherited expectations.
That hunger eventually led him through a season of questioning much of what he had been taught. Rather than walking away from God, those questions drew him closer. He began separating the character of God from the religious systems that sometimes misrepresent Him and discovering what it means to seek God, hear His voice, trust His direction, and respond in obedience.
Soil matters.
Roots matter.
Jeremy’s professional background spans horticulture, construction, environmental work, and entrepreneurship. Long before Cultivate Life had a name, he understood the principles of cultivation in a very practical way: healthy growth begins beneath the surface. Soil matters. Roots matter. Some things must be pruned. Some things must be uprooted. And sometimes the ground must be restored before anything healthy can grow there again.
Those principles eventually became more than observations about the natural world. They became a picture of what God had been doing in his own life.
Cultivate Life grew from that journey.
Jeremy believes many people are not rejecting God—they are struggling with versions of God shaped by fear, religious manipulation, performance, and the expectations of others. His desire is to help create a redemptive pathway where people are free to ask difficult questions, seek truth without fear, encounter the heart of God for themselves, and learn what it means to walk with Him from a place of trust rather than obligation.
His approach is not about giving people another religious system to follow. It is about helping them cultivate the kind of life in which genuine relationship with God can take root and grow.
Jeremy is also the author of The Architecture of Divine Strategy, which explores the foundations upon which we build our lives and what happens when we bring those foundations into alignment with God’s direction.
At the heart of both his writing and Cultivate Life is a simple conviction:
We prepare the ground. We plant the seed. We cultivate what God has entrusted to us.
But only God can make it grow.
